Cookie and Yandex Metrica Policy

This English text is an unofficial translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Russian-language version at salita.biz/docs/cookie-policy is legally binding. Last updated: August 8, 2026.

1. General provisions

The SALITA website at https://salita.biz uses technical technologies, including cookies and web-analytics tools.

To analyze site traffic and the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, the Yandex Metrica service is used, counter No. 62715751.

This Policy supplements SALITA's Personal Data Processing Policy and must be read together with it. Matters not covered by this Policy are governed by that Policy.

2. Cookie categories

The site uses the following categories of cookies:

  • strictly necessary (technical) cookies - provide the site's basic operation: retaining session technical parameters, enabling forms, protecting against automated requests. Their processing does not require separate user consent, as it is technically necessary to provide the site's information services at the user's request;
  • analytical cookies - set by the Yandex Metrica service to analyze traffic and user behavior. They are not strictly necessary for the site's operation.

3. What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of data that may be stored on a user's device when visiting the site.

Cookies may be used to ensure the site's operation, store technical parameters, and analyze traffic.

4. Legal basis for processing

Data collected by analytical cookies is processed on the basis of the user's consent (Clause 1, Part 1, Article 6 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data" dated 27.07.2006). Consent is given by clicking the "I agree" button in the notice (cookie banner) displayed on a user's first visit to the site. Until such consent is given, analytical cookies, including the Yandex Metrica counter, are not set or activated.

Strictly necessary (technical) cookies are processed without separate consent, as their processing is directly related to providing the site's information services at the user's request and does not create a purpose of processing for the Operator that is independent of fulfilling that request.

Yandex states that Metrica uses anonymous (depersonalized) browser identifiers that do not allow the Operator to directly establish a user's identity without additional information.

5. Yandex Metrica

The Operator uses Yandex Metrica to:

  • analyze traffic;
  • determine traffic sources;
  • analyze user actions;
  • evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns;
  • improve the site.

Yandex states that Metrica uses anonymous browser identifiers stored in cookies and localStorage.

6. What data may be collected

Depending on the service's settings, the following may be processed:

  • technical information about the device;
  • browser type and version;
  • operating system;
  • information about visited pages;
  • referral source;
  • technical identifiers;
  • information about user actions on the site;
  • information about the presence and use of cookies;
  • other technical data necessary for the service to operate.

7. Personal data from forms

The site's forms currently do not include fields for collecting a phone number - the corresponding collection has been suspended by the Operator pending a separate decision. The rule below is retained as a standing safeguard in case collection resumes: the phone number and other identifying data that a user may enter into the site's forms must not be transmitted to Yandex Metrica.

The Operator takes technical measures to prevent such transmission.

Yandex separately states that identifying information, including phone number, e-mail, and address, must not be transmitted to Metrica unless provided for by a special function of the service.

8. Cookie retention period

According to Yandex's official documentation, session cookies are automatically deleted when the browser is closed, the site's persistent technical cookies are retained for no more than 12 months, and Yandex Metrica's analytical cookies (in particular, _ym_uid, _ym_d) are generally retained for up to 1 year from the moment they are set.

Up-to-date information on the cookies used by Metrica is published by Yandex in the service's documentation.

9. Disabling cookies

The user may change cookie settings in their browser.

Disabling individual cookies may affect the operation of the site and some of its functions.

10. Opting out of web analytics

The user may use the technical means provided by Yandex to restrict data collection by Metrica.

Yandex also provides a mechanism for disabling the counter on a specific site.

11. Amendments to the policy

SALITA has the right to amend this Policy in the event of changes to the technologies used, site settings, or the legislation of the Russian Federation.
