Missed the acceptance deadline — what to do
The deadline to accept an inheritance is 6 months from the decedent's death. It can be restored through court if there is a valid reason for missing it — for example, the heir did not know and could not have known about the inheritance, or was seriously ill.
When a will can be challenged
